Narky Neighbours

I am starting to notice that everyone has at least one narky neighbour.

You know the one I mean?

The irritating neighbour who complains that your car isn’t within an inch of the kerb, that your kids are playing too loud or the nosey busybody who doesn’t like the begonias you’ve planted in your front garden.

It seems we should join a club to share stories of our long term grievances with miserable neighbours, who don’t like wheelie bins being positioned in a way that causes them pain or music (not loud) being played on a hot sunny day in the garden, as they find it offensive they can hear Coldplay at two o’clock in the afternoon.

Do you think this type of person will always have something to moan about, no matter what you do?

Do you think they would be happy if we planted the same flowers as them every year, if we kept our offensive looking wheelie bins out of sight, if everyone had room for their cars in the garage, if children were seen and not heard, and if all music was banned, especially if it sounds like you are having a good time whilst listening to it?

I am guessing, from painful and frustrating experience, not.

What do you think?
