Biscuits of the Stars

Mmmm! Bracknell's best biscuits

We all like biscuits - even the rich and the famous.

So while glossy magazines cover all other aspects of celebrity life, from their holidays with their ridiculously named spawn to their fluctuating waistlines, I want to concentrate on the only thing that really matters.

What are the stars’ favourite biscuits?

As usual I would like your help in this little mission. The lifestyle of the local journalist is incredibly glamorous but the chance to hob-nob (hahaha) with stars in Bracknell doesn’t come around too often so I would like you to tell me what you know about the stars’ biscuity preferences.

I’ll start the ball rolling. I was fortunate enough to interview Jonathan Ansell the other day. For those of you not up to date with the reality TV stars of four years ago he’s the former lead singer of ‘popera’ supergroup G4.

Predictably, in between probing questions about the tragic demise of G4, I asked him about his favourite biscuit.

His reply came without hesitation: “A Chocolate Hob Nob – you just can’t beat them.”

So there you go. You can rest easy now biscuit lovers.

What about the Girls Aloud-advertised Kit Kat light things?

They look brill, but the thought of any of them actually eating biscuits is improbable, given that, for example, Nicola's legs are about the same width as a Twix.

I hear that Jennifer Aniston prefers Jaffa Cakes...why we are on the subject, is jaffa cake a biscuit?

Jaffa Cakes are biscuits. I don't even care that they have no biscuit in them.
I have spoken.

A biscuit is a confection that goes soft when kept too long, cakes go hard. Therefore, no-one knows what jaffa cakes are because they do not stay around long enough to go stale. (Same goes for Hobnobs, but let's not get complicated)

you, sir, are a fool.

A Jaffa Cake cannot be a biscuit. Lets not get into this again!
