Nightmare Continues

Our nightmare pre-season continues as we are yet to win a game and players are dropping like flies.

Goalkeeper Chris Goodchild was stretchered off last weekend with ligament damage and joins Gilbert Nuako, Paul Kelly, Jamie Clarke and Michael Buck on the injury list…… Misty will need more beds in the physio room at this rate!

It's more about performances than results

Well the first pre-season fixture was played on Tuesday night and it’s great to get back once again to live football.

We lost 2-1 but as the cliché goes “it’s more about the performances and trying out new players and systems rather than results which matter at this early stage”.

The Tax Payer's Biscuit

Free biscuits are one of the things that make life worth living.

When you get somewhere and find the fabled ‘complimentary biscuit’ it is truly a joyous occasion.

My personal favourite complimentary biscuit is what I like to call the ‘tax-payer’s biscuit’.

Bracknell Town

What's a biscuit?

The Oxford dictionary defines a biscuit as: “a small unleavened cake, usually flat and crisp and often sweet.”

This, although accurate, does not do the biscuit justice.
