Paths in Bracknell on friday night.

Did anyone else try skating home on Friday night?

I did, unfortunately I was a little worse for wear and at one point almost ended up covered in tasty curry.

They say you live and learn, but obviously I chose to ignore my sober exploits during that week that saw me struggle to stay on my feet despite having full control of my senses.

So as you can imagine, after a fulfilling night at several of Bracknell’s watering holes, I made a slow and nervous treck home via the local curry house.

Unfortunately, unlike the roads, the paths remained frozen and it was all I could do to keep my taste-bud tickling bounty from spilling across the pavement.

It almost went wrong metres from the front door, I got a bit casual with the ice, thinking I’d escaped serious injury when suddenly there were my legs going in opposite directions.

Like I man possessed though, I kept my delicious prize off the floor, and the only injury was to my pride.

Last time I take the mick out of Todd Carty though.
