Motivate my a**e…

Ok, I’ll admit it here and now, I am having serious trouble motivating myself to start training for the Bracknell half-marathon.

I’ll go as far as to say I have not started running training in any shape or form.

What is it, 12 weeks away I think Mike said??

Unlike Mike (also on this blog) though, I really like jogging. I find it de-stresses me and makes me feel better inside and out (I am even a semi-regular reader of Runner's World - how’s that for commitment!)

I just struggle to find the time. I play a lot of football, I am trying to buy a house and all of this takes up valuable running time. Plus it’s flippin’ cold out!

Reading my colleagues' blogs I am slightly frightened, I had good intentions last week (I regularly have good intentions), but the snow put paid to that.

I could be out training now but I remembered I needed to start this blog…
