Don't cry for me...

Seriously, don't cry. Well, do if you want... but it won't help. I'm going on holiday this evening for 16 days and where I'm headed (Argentina, yay!), there's not going to be much opportunity for tempo, easy and speed running specified on my training schedule - click here to see it here.

On the running side of things, this is not good news. It's 90C over there at the moment and I really don't think I'll be consulting mapmyrun.com for routes round Buenos Aires.

This actually might be quite dangerous if I stumble upon some River Plate football fans and it gets violent (apparently it does).

Aaaaanyway, the upshot is I won't be running for 18 days. You might not think this is a problem as I ran home (7miles) in about 95 minutes on Tuesday.

But the problem is I have also entered the Reading half marathon which is on March 29. I wasn't gonna do Bracknell on account of it being on my birthday on May 10.

But, trooper that I am, I have entered because I prefer to achieve something (hopefully) on my 35th rather than have a terrible hangover.

So I'm in a bit of a pickle.... but never mind, I'll try to make up for the lack of training with some agressive tango dancing. See ya!
