Sunday league away days

So the Bracknell Sunday League kicked off on Sunday. (Did you see the pics)

How did you get on? My team were away, and as anyone who has travelled with me, I hate away games.

As usual I got lost.

It's usually confined to the leafy borough, but this Sunday just gone, we were travelling to Laurel Park in Earley.

I should warn you Earley frightens me, where is it? Is it the same as Lower Earley? What the hell is Erleigh?

All these questions running through my mind and the gaffer said, "go straight past Showcase Cinema, over the next round-about and it's on the right."

Unfortunately I decided to go through Wokingham thinking I was being clever rather than the A329m as suggested, and though I went past Showcase, I should have turned left.

Cue much head scratching outside Reading Uni.

Needless to say we made it, just.

Though with a final score of 4-1 to them, I wish I hadn't bothered.
